The Karlovček farm is a fruit and wine farm located in the vicinity of Šentjernej. Today, the farm comprises 30 ha of orchards and more than 20 ha of vineyards, and boasts products such as Cviček PTP wine, Blaufränkisch, Rosé, sparkling wines, 100% apple juice, apple cider vinegar, carrot juice, peach juice, apple juice, apple chips, pumpkin and salad oil, apples, peaches and table grapes. All crops are grown in accordance with the rules of controlled integrated production.

Cviček PTP

Cviček can also be called a wine specialty on a global scale, as it is the only wine with such a low alcohol level (from 8.5% to 10.0% vol) in addition to Italian Chianti. Cviček is a dry wine made from several different white and red grape varieties. Due to its unique composition, it impresses with its specific, slightly sour but extremely light taste, which flows into a wonderful harmony of aromas in the mouth. Blaufränkisch

Modra frankinja is the central variety of the Sava Valley Wine region, from which excellent red wines with a recognizable aroma with a slightly fruity taste, characteristic aroma and color are produced. Blaufränkisch contains about 13,00 %vol alcohol and is rich in antioxidants, so when consumed in moderation, it is also known for its positive health effects. It goes well with meat dishes, cured meat products and the traditional Slovenian menu.

Rosé produced in the Karlovček cellar is a dry wine made from Blaufränkisch grapes. It boasts a fresh floral flavor and aroma. With a lower alcohol level, it is one of the lighter wines.

Bisera - white

In 2019, carbonated wine was added to Karlovček's wine offer, named Bisera. White Bisera consists of kraljevina, chardonnay and Gruener Silvaner.

Due to the added CO2, it is very fresh and is especially suitable on hot summer days.

Bisera - red

In 2019, carbonated wine was added to Karlovček's wine offer, named Bisera.

Red Bisera has a similar composition as our Dolenjska special Cviček, as it consists of kraljevina, žametovka (Koelner Blau) and Blaufränkisch.

Jernejeva Rosé

In 2016, at the Karlovček farm, we prepared Jernej rosé sparkling wine for you for the first time with classical method.

Jernerjeva Rosé sparkling wine is made from žametovka (Koelner Blau), which gives it a slightly pink color. The sparkling wine is very fresh and has a pleasant taste.
