Simonič family has been involved in winemaking for several generations. They have been producing sparkling wines by the classical method (méthode traditionelle) under the "Semiška penina" brand for over twenty years now. Their vineyards, located in the Semič wine-growing sub-district, consist of the Chardonnay, Welschriesling and Blaufränkisch varieties. Their entire crop from pruning to harvest is grown with sparkling wines in mind. Their sparkling wines mature in the underground cellar in Semič. You can also treat yourself to a guided tour of the cellar with sparkling wine tasting, where you will learn more about their production and service. You can choose from nine different sparkling wines, where there is something for every taste. The cellar is equipped with a tasting room where they can host groups of up to 60 people.
