Our story
Tajfl - natural grape juice in a bottle - is produced by Ana and Jakob Šušterič from the Grobelnik farm. We are a young family of four. During the week we live and work in Ljubljana. Every weekend we go to our home farm in Podvrh near Sevnica, where we cultivate about 4 hectares of vineyards.
The growing demand of guests at our Tourist Farm Groblenik for non-alcoholic beverages led us to the decision to change part of our viticultural activity into the production of 100% natural grape juice and offer it in a bottle. Namely, there are many people who do not drink alcoholic beverages, be it mothers, children, drivers, businessmen, but still want to toast with good food and enjoy company.
We succeeded and learned to produce clear 100% natural grape juice that preserves the freshness of freshly squeezed grapes. This is our natural grape juice Tajfl! We believe that Tajfl can be a drink that can be placed next to wine and at various anniversaries, celebrations or a simple dinner with loved ones, put on the table as a non-alcoholic alternative to wine and a healthy and natural alternative to well-known sweet drinks (juices, Coca -Cola, Fanta...). Well chilled and served in a wine glass, it will conjure up just as special festive feeling for every "non-drinker" as a glass of good wine can conjure up for us.
Today, natural grape juice Tajfl is already served in some of the best Slovenian restaurants (Gostilna pri Lojzetu at the Zemono mansion, Restaurant JB, Strelec, Atelje, Ošterija Debeluh, Kunst Restaurant, Restaurant Ajda, Castle Wine Shop...).
Our goal is for Tajfl to become a popular Slovenian non-alcoholic drink, which we will reach for as often as wine lovers reach for wine. We believe that we can create a culture of drinking natural grape juice that can go hand in hand with a culture of drinking wine and offer people who do not drink alcohol a natural and equivalent alternative that also pairs well with food.
